Week 3 - Day 1

How’s Things….

So it’s the start of week 3 for me on my quest for that ultimate six pack, so far it is going good, planned a solid meal plan for this week so all I got to do now it put in the effort to prepare all my food the day before. I found that for me, if I don’t prepare my meals the night before I am more than likely to sneak in something that I shouldn’t be eating, so I’m going to do work on those meals lol

The reason that this is my first blog post in a little while is because I was out of town most of last week and the whole weekend and didn’t have access to the internet. I am looking forward to these week three workouts, it is definitely my type of workout and I’m going to be piling on the resistance to make it as intense as possible.

I’m very pleased to see that people are taking an interest in my blog again, I really appreciate it and it gives me stacks of motivation because I don’t want to let my fellow shredders down J I reckon we must make this quest for six pack abs a team effort, so lets keep up to date with the other shredders blogs and post on there blogs so they got endless sources of motivation.

That is it for me at the moment chaps

Consistency is Key!

Week 2 - Day 1

Sup!

SO with the end of a great week is the beginning of an even greater week to come, and today proved to be just that. Woke up this morning had an awesome egg white and toast breakfast then when lunch came around I had my awesome healthy pizza cheat meal, was awesome! The workout today was also great, but quite tough at the same time. The hardest part of the workout was definately the dive bomber pushups and the blank. Those two always kill but you feel really great once they are done!

HIIT tomorrow as usual and man I can't wait, gonna stick with the Tabata style HIIT training for this week, when I get bored of the old Tabata I'll probably start doing something like hill sprints or summin of that nature, they definatelt kick your arse.

Monday is my weigh in day and today it was succesful, lost a total of 1.5kg this week, which is mainly water weight but it's a step in the right direction. As the weeks go on things will start to even out....niiice!

Take it easy, but not to easy

End of Week 1

Hey

Alright so it's the end of a great week of eating clean and training hard. I feel totally great right now, it's good to be back in the game of nutrition and exercise. If I just have a quick comparison of how I felt last week and how I feel today, it is just amazing, my energy levels are high, im not as stressed as before, I sleep alot better. All that in only a week, im definately sticking with this :)

Did my 20mins of HIIT today which is a great way to end of the week, I like to have my off day during the work week so that I don't get lazy over the weekends, and when you're with all you're friends that eat healthy over the weekend all laziness will do is lead you to temptation and you're more than likely to cave in if you don't have a plan of action.

It's weigh in day tomorow so I will let you know how many kg's /g I have lost this weekend, anything under 2 pounds is a good result for me and anything more means that I'm likely to lose muscle mass. And that is not what I want

Till tomorrow

Week 1 - Day 5

Howdy!

Today was quite a good day if I do say so myself, just felt great. My body is coming off the detox, the workouts are getting better and better every single day and my body is loving me at the moment for feeding it all this nice clean and healthy food.

The workout today was by far the strongest one this week, which is awesome because that means my body is getting back in the game. Can definately see my definition coming back quite quickly and my energy levels are through the roof. Looking forward to my HIIT workout tomorrow, always feel so refreshed after a good HIIT session, gotta love it.

As for nutrition, today was the best days ever, basically just went on the net and got some awesome new healthy recipes that taste GREAT and are pretty straight forward to make. I like preparing my food the day before so all I have to do the next day is heat it up and eat it, couldn't be simpler than that.

On the menu today was my regular Oats for breakfast, the tuna and brown rice casserole for meal 2 and three then I did my workout then had my protein shake and for dinner I had honey and mustard baked chicken breats, who said eating healthy had to taste bland and boring... if you want the recipes for the meals I had today just post a comment and youre email address and I'll hook you up..

Till next time, take care!

Week 1 - Day 4

Today was an awesome day, got all my meals in on time, made some great food and had an sweet HIIT workout. Im really starting to get back into the healthy swing of things which is great. Body is going through bit of a detox, but thats all par for the course, considering that my diet was all over the place a few weeks prior to last monday. Things are coming together nicely and I'm loving the increased energy levels from all the exercise and healthy food.

As for the workout today, just kept it simple and did some Tabata style Interval training ( 20 mins or so) rarely gets the heart racing which is awesome. Gonna go sip on some green tea then hit the sack I guess, gotta get up early tomorow....

Till then
Peace

Week 1 - Day 3

Sup!

Today was an interesting day, did my work as usual, little bit of studying here and there. That was all normal then I did my workout and about half way through my workout my body just couldn't perform, it's a wierd feeling, its like a combination of sugar low and intense fatigue... quite strange. So I unfortunately had to cut my workout short (had only 2 more sets ) had replenish my energy with some healthy clean complex carbs and protein. Basically the aim if the game at this stage is to listen to your body and if its telling you to feed it u better feed it ( with healthy food) before things spiral downward.

I think the main reason that this happened is because I my last meal was quite awhile before my workout and my body has to also try and get used to all this healthy food again (detox). I'm gonna sort this out tomorrow by waking up early so that I can get all my 6 meals in and nicely spaced out so that I can totally just own the workout... looking forward to that. Got HIIT tomorrow again and it's gonna be awesome. U really can't beat a good cardio session!

SO thats it for today... join me tomorrow for my next training update

Train Hard, but also train smart!

Week 1 - Day 2

Hey Hey

Just completed my first session of HIIT for week 1 and man do I feel alive and energetic right now. Im not gonna lie, right before the workout I was feeling pretty tired and lazy as I was prior to that sitting at my P.C for like 3 hours getting some work done. But I pushed forward through the laziness and tiredness and did the HIIT workout, now I feel amazing! Which just goes to show that blogging really helps give you that extra bit of motivation when you aren't entirely up for the challenge of working out. Can't let you guys down, no way no how!! Just gotta take action

Basically just wolfed down my protein shake and complex carbs ( bit of brown rice) straight after my workout right now so my body can get to work on those nutrients. yea... I'm not really a fan of those long boring cardio sessions on the treadmill so what I do is basically 20s work with 10s break and I just do various bodyweight exercises for about 20mins for Week 1, will obviously up the time once the weeks progress. Tabata style HIIT is sweet cuz it adds the fun element to cardio and thats what it's all about right... having a good ol time while working out.. damn straight

So thats it from me today, gonna go hit the shower, do some work then grub on some awesome clean food for dinner, sounds like a plan to me. Oh yea and starting from Monday 7th July up until 14th July I will be posting my daily meal plan, so stick around for that.

Till Tomorow
